AMEX is the worst

I thought Telstra was bad a company with poor customer service, rip-off tactics and un-innovative products for users.

Now my new nemesis has arisen from the black pits of hell to ruin Christmas. American Express has always been a bit shoddy on the customer service end. Now they have managed to screw up my Christmas hat off to them they get the Grinch award. It all started with them failing to cancel the old card, then I paid money into the account only to discover that although the card was canceled payments were still going there. I called customer service to remedy the situation but they woman said that the only thing they could do was transfer the money which would take 3 working days. 3 working days! If money takes that long to transfer for them there must be something going on after all they have all the money! It’s just bits in a computer that’s the worst case of Asynchronous updates in the world! Those bits must be bundled in cotton wool shipped by Amazon and then opened and lovingly filed. Maybe this company should get Google to build them a computer system that works in SECONDS. Merry Christmas AMEX I hope you all burn in your own Credit Hell.

Uncle Bush and little John

I’m really looking forward to the visit from Uncle Bush’s visit we Sydney residents get the day off. Awesome! A whole day so that the big Dick Cheeze of the world can waddle up and shake the hands of some of our Asian neighbors. Hope he doesn’t raise and incident like our wonderful PM Little John, I hope it all goes well and we don’t end up isolated, alone and the butt of everyone’s jokes.

My plans, I’m going to blow stuff up, plying CS and BF all day, maybe some DOW and COH. My mates are coming around too going have hot dogs! Celebrate our American heritage err I mean WTF they really snuck that up on us. All we need is to have some other day and get some other dick head to come down here and show us how to be insulting, arrogant and condescending.

Facebook GOOD Myspace BAD

Facebook is friggen awesome, I have found people who I forgot about it brings back memories. I love the mini feeds features. The plug-in framework rocks my socks.

Major differences, if you are using Myspace, sure you may need to add contacts and stuff, but its way easier to manage and its not stale. My space is about this is what I create Facebook is about what you are defined through others. Its really great, its not your perception of yourself its others as well. Myspace is cluttered, the pages of most people are really ugly. I think anyone should at least give Facebook a go.

Plans

My plan is to create my own venture capital company. A company that has some technical skill and forethought (BUT don't Americans have that) NO wrong AMERCANS are all GAY, they have no concept of doing anything beyond 7 years. Goal:
Power generation is the field of study that deserves attention. Specifically sources of energy based on hydrogen. Solar panels are really only good for small scale power generation. We need a bigger BOAT.

I want work with someone who is working on Fusion reactors and understand the technology better. I think its complete conceivable in my lifetime that the ITER project will succeed and create a self sustaining reaction.

But wait you say, isn’t the sun a big reactor?
YES but its far away and you still lose energy in the conversion, SOLAR is GAY, wake up and smell the melting quartz.

Goo Goo Google Bad!!!

Google is bad, plain and simple. Google has too much power, the relationships they have to other companies are too intertwined. Its not going to be long before they really start screwing with people, countries and thoughts. You wanted thought control you have it right here, swing an election, vilify a minority and persecute an idea.

Goggle is bad and there is no way this group can have this much power and not abuse it. Hey if they do, who’s going to find out about it anyway.

Australia short end of a very shitty stick

For awhile now I have been wondering why so many good inventions go overseas. Well the reason is tied to the government and Australia's amateurish financial sector.

The Australian government has the long held belief that buying items from overseas is far better, we buy ships planes, bombs everything.

In WW2 we had an arms industry, we had airplanes now what do we have?

We are a vassal state of the American Empire and our only purpose is to consume.

So the government is responsible, the current administration obviously received some form of kickback from the states and Howard still had to suck dick (case in point we are in Iraq and have no business being there).

Our finance is amateurish except for the monster sharks of Macquarie who believe that because our Government is stupid they can charge us for our own roads. If you are mining you can get all the money you need, doing something interesting well those only happen overseas anyway why would an Australian invest in that?

If Australia wants to become more than a source of raw materials then there has to be some serous investment by mid level financial institutions.

Ill tell you why, because it has other impacts. Investing in creative endeavors be them scientific or artistic diversifies our culture.

My final word to those morons in Canberra why did we give the Americans our plasma engine? It allows you to make efficient spacecraft do you think we could have kept it or heaven forbid licensed it to the highest bidder?

DirectX10

DirectX10 is going to provide much better graphics for our online game COA, the unfortunate thing is however that DirectX10 is not being released on XP.

The features of directX10 the most important for me is the number of shaders, and soft paritcles.
