AMEX is the worst

I thought Telstra was bad a company with poor customer service, rip-off tactics and un-innovative products for users.

Now my new nemesis has arisen from the black pits of hell to ruin Christmas. American Express has always been a bit shoddy on the customer service end. Now they have managed to screw up my Christmas hat off to them they get the Grinch award. It all started with them failing to cancel the old card, then I paid money into the account only to discover that although the card was canceled payments were still going there. I called customer service to remedy the situation but they woman said that the only thing they could do was transfer the money which would take 3 working days. 3 working days! If money takes that long to transfer for them there must be something going on after all they have all the money! It’s just bits in a computer that’s the worst case of Asynchronous updates in the world! Those bits must be bundled in cotton wool shipped by Amazon and then opened and lovingly filed. Maybe this company should get Google to build them a computer system that works in SECONDS. Merry Christmas AMEX I hope you all burn in your own Credit Hell.
